Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TEND Protocol ("Protocol"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Protocol.

2. Nature of the Protocol

TEND is experimental software deployed on Solana Devnet for demonstration purposes as part of the Colosseum Frontier 2026 hackathon. The Protocol is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied.

3. No Financial Advice

Nothing in this Protocol constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. The AI-managed yield buckets are autonomous systems that make allocation decisions based on algorithmic analysis. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

4. Risks

Using DeFi protocols involves significant risks including but not limited to: smart contract vulnerabilities, impermanent loss, protocol failures, oracle manipulation, and total loss of deposited funds. You acknowledge and accept all such risks.

5. On-Chain Transparency

All rebalance decisions are logged on-chain before execution. While this provides transparency, it does not eliminate risk. The decision log is an audit trail, not a guarantee of profitable outcomes.

6. Borrowing

Borrowing against bucket positions carries liquidation risk. If your health factor drops below the minimum threshold, your position may be liquidated. You are solely responsible for monitoring and managing your borrow positions.

7. No Guarantee of Availability

The Protocol may be unavailable, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice. The AI agent loop, frontend, and on-chain program are independent systems that may experience downtime independently.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of TEND shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Protocol.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Protocol after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
